FormulAI is an agent platform. Your team defines use cases, runs them against a registry of the models and tools you configure, and reviews the results. Set approval on individual tools or on workflow steps, and a run waits until a reviewer decides.

Build and run
- Define a use case with a system prompt, a model, optional tools, and input and output schemas.
- Replay any run with its full message history.
- Call OpenAI and Anthropic models through one model gateway.
- Chain models in sequence, with fallback steps to another provider defined per chain.
Approve and review
- Put any tool behind approval. The run waits until a reviewer decides.
- Add approval steps and conditions to multi-step workflows.
- Submit documents for review. Reviewers approve or reject them and leave comments.
- Regenerate individual blocks of a generated document.
Documents and knowledge
- Ingest PDF, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, TXT, Markdown, HTML and image files, with OCR for images.
- Export documents as Markdown, DOCX or PDF.
- Store memory entries and search them by vector similarity.
- Build reusable document templates and A/B test template variants.
Operate and administer
- Search run history in full text, across inputs and outputs.
- Review admin metrics for overview, providers, fallbacks and failure trends.
- Set data retention policies.
- Read audit events.
How it works
An administrator registers models and tools. An operator defines a use case and runs it, and the run produces output or a document. A tool flagged for approval stops the run until a reviewer approves or rejects it; an approved run resumes. Workflows chain use cases with approval steps and conditions. Run history, documents and memory are stored in PostgreSQL.
