Work management

IssueTracker

Early access

Issue tracking and iteration planning for teams that run their own infrastructure.

IssueTracker tracks issues and plans work on boards, with a list of upcoming work, time-boxed iterations, guarded workflows, a REST API and webhooks. It is deployed as a single-tenant install on infrastructure the customer operates.

Problem addressed

Delivery teams need one controlled record of work, with workflows that enforce process, an API that automation can use, and a clear history of who changed what.

What IssueTracker does

Features

Plan and track work

  • Issue types, custom fields, comments, attachments, links and a per-issue activity history.
  • Scrum and kanban projects from templates, with archive and restore.
  • Boards with drag-and-drop status changes, a list of upcoming work, and start and complete for each iteration.
  • A My Issues view, saved filters, and search across issues.

Control the process

  • Workflow guards refuse a blocked transition and give the reason.
  • Automation rules act when an issue changes state.
  • In-app and email notifications, with per-channel preferences.
  • A dashboard with status, priority and trend charts.

Connect other systems

  • API tokens with scopes, revocable at any time.
  • A REST API with an OpenAPI reference.
  • Signed webhooks with a delivery log of every attempt.

Administer and audit

  • Members, teams and roles, with invitations that respect plan seat limits.
  • Optional TOTP multi-factor sign-in.
  • Audit log chained by SHA-256 hash per tenant, with chain verification and export.

How it works

IssueTracker is a Go backend with a Next.js frontend. It stores data in PostgreSQL, uses Redis, and keeps attachments in S3-compatible object storage. It is deployed single-tenant: one customer operates one instance on a cluster the customer controls. To evaluate locally, bring the stack up with Docker Compose.

Who it is for

Engineering and IT leads who want issue tracking, boards and iterations on infrastructure their own team operates. Delivery teams that need workflows which enforce process, and platform operators who install and back up the system. Integrators who connect it to other tools through tokens, the REST API and webhooks.
